The latest McKinsey Global Survey on AI, The State of AI in 2025: Agents, Innovation, and Transformation, reveals a world racing to harness the potential of artificial intelligence. Nearly nine out of ten organizations are already using AI, and over 60% are experimenting with AI agents. Still, the majority remain in early stages of scaling these technologies across their enterprises.

While high-performing companies are redesigning workflows and achieving measurable gains in innovation, efficiency, and cost savings, the human implications of this transformation are still unfolding. The report highlights that 32% of organizations expect workforce reductions, while 13% predict job growth. In this shifting landscape, emotional intelligence, trust, and human connection aren’t just “nice-to-haves”—they’re the superpowers that will define what it means to thrive.

Seth Eisenberg

That’s where Seth Eisenberg, CEO of PAIRS Foundation and co-creator of the YODI app, sees a critical opportunity.

“We’re living in a moment when AI can automate tasks, but it can’t replicate what matters most—empathy, bonding, and emotional courage,” Eisenberg said in response to the McKinsey findings. “The future belongs to those who can combine powerful technologies with deeply human skills. Relationships are not just personal—they’re profoundly professional. Whether you’re raising children or leading companies, the ability to create safety, connection, and trust is the ultimate competitive advantage.”

As the architect of programs that have helped tens of thousands strengthen marriages, families, and professional teams, Eisenberg is no stranger to transformation. His work with PAIRS, including innovations like the Daily Temperature Reading, Emotional Jug, and Fair Fight for Change, equips individuals with tools to navigate conflict, deepen empathy, and build resilience—skills that AI simply can’t replicate.

The McKinsey report underscores that the most successful organizations are those not just pursuing efficiency, but using AI to drive growth and human-centered innovation. As technology races ahead, Eisenberg says the real challenge is ensuring that emotional intelligence doesn’t get left behind.

“Technology will keep evolving, but love, trust, and connection will always be at the heart of what makes us fully human,” Eisenberg added. “That’s why the work of fathers, families, and conscious leaders is more important than ever.”

At a time when headlines focus on machines replacing humans, PAIRS reminds us of something even more powerful: learning to love—better, braver, and more skillfully—is the edge that no algorithm can match.
