The PAIRS Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Rachel Marmor, LMHC, as Project Manager of the IronBond Fatherhood Initiative, a groundbreaking five-year, federally funded program designed to serve more than 600 low-income and underserved fathers throughout South Florida.
IronBond — short for Forging Stronger Fathers, Families, and Futures — combines evidence-based relationship skills education with practical support for responsible parenting, healthy co-parenting, emotional growth, and economic stability. Marmor’s leadership marks a powerful step forward for an initiative committed to reshaping what it means to be a father in today’s world.
“Rachel brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, trauma-informed leadership, and heartfelt passion for healing families,” said Seth Eisenberg, President & CEO of the PAIRS Foundation. “Her ability to create emotionally safe, culturally responsive environments makes her uniquely equipped to guide the IronBond team in empowering fathers to show up fully for their children, their partners, and themselves.”
Marmor is a licensed mental health counselor with deep experience working with vulnerable families, including survivors of trauma, domestic violence, and incarceration. Prior to joining IronBond, she led therapeutic programs serving veterans across Miami-Dade County. Her appointment reflects PAIRS Foundation’s commitment to compassionate, community-rooted leadership.
A Blueprint for National Impact
IronBond is more than a program — it’s a movement to transform fatherhood. Powered by the PAIRS Foundation’s decades-long legacy of delivering research-validated relationship skills, IronBond brings its services directly to fathers through partnerships with Carrfour Supportive Housing, reentry centers, workforce hubs, and affordable housing communities. Key features of the initiative include:
- Curriculum-based workshops rooted in PAIRS Essentials and Mastery tools, delivered both in person and via the PAIRS YODI app.
- Emotional reeducation strategies to help fathers navigate unresolved grief, emotional allergies, and family legacies.
- Workforce and financial coaching to support long-term economic stability.
- Personalized case management and wraparound supports to help fathers thrive.
Each year, IronBond will also train and certify 40 new fatherhood facilitators, building a sustainable network of peer leaders and professionals across South Florida.
Marmor begins her new role effective immediately. Under her leadership, IronBond aims to become a national model for integrating responsible fatherhood, emotional healing, and economic empowerment.
